Say It Isn't So!

I came across this book as I was scanning the stacks at my local library.

 

At first I thought it had to be a joke.

 

 I picked it up and noticed a disclaimer within the first few pages

 stating something like, "No cats were harmed in the making of this book!"

 

It was sort of like a "deer in the headlights" experience.

 

It wasn't a joke.

 

Does someone really do this?

 

Apparently so. .  . I find out as I turn the pages.

 

Some of the crafts were actually cute,

but it was hard to get passed the gag reflex that kept creeping up every time

 I thought of the fact that they're all made with CAT HAIR!!

Someone will see this and

know I didn't get much

housework done today. 

No surprise, the housework

is still waiting for me. 

Time to get started on that.

Glamour Gal Art Piece

We've been working so much the

past several months, there hasn't been

much time for artwork. 

I've really been missing my

artsy "therapy". 

Enough was enough. 

I had to do something creative!

This piece was inspired by the

thought of creating a 1920's glamour girl

and putting my own spin on her. 

I love drawing female faces

(in case you haven't noticed).

I'm at the point where I have

to spend some time looking at

her to know if I'm going to

be tweaking her or not.
